Earl grew up in Colorado. He spent time in the mountains skiing, hiking, fishing and generally enjoying the thin air in the higher altitudes. Earl also had the privilege of working in his father’s plumbing and construction business beginning at the age of 12. He most enjoyed working on electrical installation for new homes. Here is where Earl found the joy of hard, honest work.
After high school, Earl got a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and went to work for Texas Instruments (TX) and GTE (AZ). After a few years he began selling the production equipment that makes semiconductors. This led Earl across the United States and even outside the US – Japan, Austria, and Singapore. Even with the heavy travel schedule, Earl got his Bachelor of Science degree in Business.
Eventually Earl made a drastic career change and began selling Medicare supplemental insurance. He has found great satisfaction in helping people benefit from great insurance choices. This is where Earl’s affinity for honesty and compassion thrives.
Earl is also a married guy. He and his wife, Dawn, have been married for over 30 years. Dawn is a nurse who has spent most of her career in pediatrics.
Earl and Dawn moved to southeastern North Carolina in 2017 looking for a place to continue to work but also the place to eventually retire – beaches, so much to explore, and great people have made the move the best thing they could have done.
